From March 23–27, the Head of the Architecture Department, Dr. Egin Zeka, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Valerio Perna and MSc. Arch. Manjola Logli, participated in the International Week organized by the Université Catholique de Lille, with hosting activities at JUNIA – Grande École d’Ingénieurs, within the framework of the Erasmus+ staff mobility program.
The event brought together academics and professionals from countries including the United Kingdom, Brazil, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cameroon, Georgia, India, Kenya, Lebanon, Ghana, and Poland, providing a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and international collaboration.
The central theme of the week, “Universities as Global Actors for Peace: Responsibility, Engagement and Solidarity,” guided workshops and discussions on the evolving role of higher education in addressing global challenges, advancing sustainability, and fostering international cooperation.
Participants also visited architectural studio classes, observing teaching methodologies and student work, thereby strengthening academic ties and exploring collaborative opportunities between institutions.
Engagement in this international forum reinforced the department’s dedication to global collaboration, sustainability, and excellence in architectural education.
