On 17 April 2025, the Department of Law at Epoka University had the pleasure of hosting Ms. Fatima Sekkak for an open lecture titled "Best Practices of Gender Equality: the case of Morocco".
The event, held at EPOKA University, brought together students taking the course "Gender and Law" taught by Eglantina Farruku and Adena Vangjeli.
During the event, Ms. Sekkak provided an overview of Morocco's gender equality reforms, focusing especially on introducing gender equality as a mandatory course in elementary, high school, and universities.
Ms. Fatima Sekkak is a well-known activist for gender equality in Morocco. She works with the Ministry of Education to prepare necessary materials for gender equality in Morocco. In addition, Ms. Sekkak has actively participated in international organisational activities to promote gender equality.
