As part of the B-FLEX 2026 – Industry Days series, organized by the Yunus Center for Social Business and Sustainability in collaboration with the student club Marketing Zone, Lagardère Travel Retail Albania was welcomed at Epoka University for an engaging session with students.
The event featured a presentation by the CEO of Lagardère Travel Retail Albania, Stanislav Beranék, who shared valuable insights into the company’s operations, the dynamics of the travel retail industry, and the opportunities and challenges of managing retail activities in highly dynamic environments such as international airports. During the session, students had the opportunity to learn about the daily operations of duty-free retail, the importance of customer experience in travel environments, and the role of innovation and adaptability in a global retail network. The interactive discussion and Q&A segment created a productive dialogue between students and industry professionals, highlighting the importance of bridging academic knowledge with real-world business practices.
The event also benefited from the participation of the HR Director of Lagardère Travel Retail Albania, Ardit Borici, who had discussions with the students by sharing perspectives on career opportunities, professional development, and the skills required for young professionals aiming to enter the industry.
