On 22 September 2025, in Brussels, the official launch of COST Action CA24134 – OBSERVISTA (Observatory of Innovative Strategies for Repurposing Terrain Vague) brought together researchers and stakeholders to initiate a four-year collaboration focused on transforming underutilized urban spaces. In this first Management Committee meeting in Brussels, Epoka University was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Odeta Manahasa. The event featured a comprehensive COST presentation, followed by candidate presentations for the Action Chair role and the election of mandatory leadership positions including Chair, Vice-Chair, Science Communication Coordinator, and Grant Holder Manager. The Management Committee engaged in strategic planning discussions to finalize group structures, approve the initial work plan, and outline future activities such as training schools, short-term scientific missions, and dissemination strategies.
