The Department of Banking and Finance, in collaboration with the Albanian Association of Banks (AAB), successfully organized an Open Lecture on Cybersecurity Awareness on October 30th, 2025, at the Conference Hall of Epoka University.
The aim of the session was to raise students’ awareness on how to identify and respond to suspicious online activities, protect personal and financial data, and apply safe digital practices in everyday life.
The lecture featured distinguished members of the AAB Cybersecurity Task Force and Emergency Committee as guest speakers:
-Mr. Reglend Xhango, Director of the Information Security Department, OTP Bank Albania
-Mrs. Entela Prifti, Director of the Security Division, Raiffeisen Bank
During the lecture, the speakers shared professional experiences about the risks threatening the financial sector, emphasizing the importance of internal security policies, effective management of cyber incidents, and protective measures for the security of financial data and information. Students actively participated in discussions on real-life cases and showed great interest in the latest challenges and developments in the field of cybersecurity.
