On January 13, 2026, within the framework of the course LAW 101 – Public Law, a workshop titled “Aspects of the Rule of Law in Albania from the Perspective of Students” was held.
The activity served as an academic platform for students to present papers and engage in critical discussions on the fundamental principles of the rule of law in Albania.
The workshop addressed key issues such as justice reform and effective law enforcement, separation of powers, independence of the judiciary, electoral system, equality before the law, proportionality, transparency and accountability, supremacy of the Constitution, citizen participation, protection of fundamental rights under the ECHR, legal certainty, European integration, as well as the impact of digital technology on human rights.
Through their analyses, students reflected on current challenges and opportunities for strengthening the rule of law. The activity also contributed to the development of students’ argumentative and analytical skills in public law.
