EPOKA University hosted an inspiring guest talk titled “Beyond the Comfort Zone – A Journey of Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Growth Abroad” on December 18, 2025, at the Conference Hall, bringing together students interested in innovation, startups, and international career paths.
The event featured Lisbora Likaj, a distinguished EPOKA University alumna and Project Manager in Open Innovation at AVL, as the guest speaker. During the session, Lisbora shared her personal and professional journey, from her studies at EPOKA University to pursuing her Master’s degree at TU Graz, and her experience working closely with startups in an international environment.
Through her story, she highlighted the importance of stepping outside one’s comfort zone, embracing innovation, and continuously developing skills to build a successful career abroad. Her talk offered practical insights into entrepreneurship, open innovation ecosystems, and the value of international academic and professional exposure.
The session was highly engaging, encouraging students to reflect on their own aspirations, explore global opportunities, and actively participate in discussions about growth, resilience, and lifelong learning. The event once again demonstrated EPOKA University’s strong alumni network and its commitment to inspiring students through real-life success stories and global perspectives.
