EPOKA University is pleased to announce the launch of a new interdisciplinary study program, “Bachelor in Accounting and Financial Technology”, designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and skills at the intersection of accounting, finance, and digital innovation.
The program is offered by the Department of Finance–Banking within the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and will be delivered entirely in English. It aims to prepare graduates who can actively contribute to the digital and sustainable transformation of modern organizations through strong analytical, financial, and technological competencies.
The Bachelor in Accounting and Financial Technology integrates a broad range of subjects, including accounting, financial management, business analysis, and emerging financial technologies. Students will gain the ability to prepare, interpret, and analyze financial information that supports effective decision-making for investors, managers, governments, and other stakeholders. The program also emphasizes the interpretation of financial statements, annual reports, and public and private sector financial data.
A key feature of the program is its strong focus on digital transformation and data-driven decision-making. Students will be trained in advanced analytical methods and will explore the use of technologies such as fintech applications, blockchain, digital accounting systems, and enterprise resource planning tools. This approach ensures that graduates are well-prepared for the evolving demands of the global financial and business environment.
The curriculum includes foundational courses such as Introduction to Accounting, Business Statistics, and Principles of Economics, as well as specialized modules including Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets and Systems, Auditing, International Finance, ESG and Sustainability Reporting, Business Data Analytics, Taxation, Fintech, and Blockchain in Accounting.
The program is structured as a full-time, three-year bachelor degree consisting of six semesters and 180 ECTS credits The first two semesters focus on core mandatory courses, while later stages combine elective and compulsory modules to provide flexibility and specialization.
