Assoc. Prof. Dr. David Felsen
Vice-Rector for International Relations

Holds a PhD from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom and has vast experience in higher education leadership positions at various institutions in the United States and abroad, and several years of experience in non-profit leadership, notably as President of San Diego International Affairs Council. Regarding the international education area, he has a strong international profile and extensive experience. He studied in Canada and U.K, conducted his doctoral field research in Italy at the University of Bologna, served as a professor and administrator at Technologico de Monterrey in the Northern Mexico City, has lectured at LUISS University in Rome, Italy and the Centrum-Catholic University of Lima in Peru. At the same time, Assoc. Prof. Dr. David Felsen possesses significant experience in strategic planning and budgeting of Higher Education Institutions. He is a native speaker of English and speaks Spanish, French, and Italian.

Prof. Dr. Agim Kukeli

Holds a PhD in Economics from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado in 2004, and has a notable academic career in higher education, including his teaching and leadership positions in various higher education institutions in the United States, Albania and abroad. In 2008, Mr. Kukeli was awarded the title of full professor from the Scientific Qualification Committee under the Council of Ministers Decision Nr. 786, date 17.12.1998“.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Carlo Ciulla

Holds a PhD in Computer and Information Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2002. His former academic appointments were Science and Technology Agency Fellow at the National Institute of Bioscience and Human Technology in Tsukuba, Japan (1995-1996), research associate at the Yale University (2002–2003), postdoctoral scholar at the University of Iowa (2004–2005), postdoctoral scholar at Wayne State University (2005–2007) and assistant professor of computer science at the Lane College (2007–2009).

Dr. Erindi Allaj

Holds a PhD degree in Finance from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata,” and has received his Bachelor and MSc degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. He holds also a post-master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Rome “La Sapienza.” In 2018, he completed a post-doc in Mathematical Methods for Economics, Actuarial Science and Finance at the University of Florence, and in 2019 he was a project member at the Department of Applied Statistics, University of Linz, Austria.

Dr. M. Maaruf Ali

Holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from King’s College London, University of London (UK) in 1997. He has 19 years of experience in academia in higher education institutions in the United Kingdom and abroad. His research interests are in Computer User Interface, Image Processing, and Coding, Location Based Services and Mobile Communications. Maaruf has also examined 20 PhD students, 16 as an external examiner, both nationally and internationally.

M.Sc. Egis Zaimaj

Is an Alumni of Epoka University, graduated with the highest GPA in Banking and Finance and holds a Master of Science in Banking & Finance in 2019 from Epoka University. Ms. Egis Zaimaj joins Epoka University as a full-time Academic Staff after her successful performance as a teaching assistant during the 2018-2019 academic year. Her research interests include; Financial Econometrics, Financial Accounting, Performance Measurement & Management, Bank Accounting, Cost Accounting, Strategic Business Management.

M.Sc. Sidita Reshketa

Is an Alumni of Epoka University, graduated with the highest GPA in Banking and Finance. She rejoins Epoka University after completing proudly her Master of Science in Finance and Economics in 2018 from Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic. In 2017, she participated in CFA Challenge as the School Representative and was awarded 1 st place in the reporting and 3 rd in presentation round, in national level Czech Republic, 2017.

M.Sc. Vasil Lino

 Is an Assistant Lecturer in math and comes from an extensive teaching experience in state and private higher education institutions. Mr. Lino holds also a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Canadian Institute of Technology, Albania.
