Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alba Kruja, Ms. Belita Hysaj, and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztas have published a research article titled "The Interplay of Values and Skills: How Do They Impact Graduates’ Employability?" in the journal Administrative Sciences (Volume 14, Issue 9, September 2024).
The article explores the development of values and skills throughout university education and their subsequent manifestation in the workplace, with a focus on graduates' employability and their contributions to societal value creation. Through an exploratory factor analysis, the research evaluates the interplay of values, skills, and professional performance while analyzing the key missions of universities: teaching, research, and extracurricular activities.
This study provides practical and theoretical implications for higher education institutions, industry, and policymakers to improve graduates' transitions to the job market while fostering long-term societal benefits.
