In cooperation with GIZ and EU4Innovation, Epoka University recently participated in a three-day training program on "EU Framework Programs in Research and Innovation," aimed at equipping participants with the skills to identify the best funding opportunities, build strong networks with EU institutions, develop successful project proposals, and manage programs from administrative, legal, and financial perspectives.
As part of this initiative, a group of staff and academic members attended this training, hosted by Zabala Innovation, GIZ and EU4Innovation, reinforcing the university’s commitment to academic excellence and professional development. Led by international experts Aritz Goñi and Daniel Errea, the training focused on transforming innovative ideas into well-structured project concepts, guiding participants through key aspects of proposal development, including structure, templates, and best practices for successful applications.
This initiative aligns with Epoka’s broader strategy to foster continuous learning and international collaboration, ensuring that faculty and staff remain at the forefront of innovation in higher education and research. The training brought together participants from public and private institutions, as well as non-profit organizations, providing a dynamic environment for exchanging ideas and brainstorming potential Horizon Europe, Capacity Building in Higher Education, and Erasmus+ projects.
Such initiatives reinforce Epoka University’s commitment to empowering its academic and administrative community, equipping them with the tools and knowledge necessary to contribute meaningfully to high-quality education and impactful research.
