On November 5, 2025, four students from EPOKA University represented Albania at the Cyber Security Young Talent Training 2025 Final, hosted at the Technical University of Moldova (CYBERCOR) and organized by Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) in collaboration with ESTDEV.
The event brought together talented students from across Europe to compete in the final round of the challenge titled “Protocol Europa: Digital Waters Under Siege.” Participants engaged in a simulated European cyber defense scenario set in the year 2045, where they addressed AI-driven maritime cybersecurity threats. The competition featured advanced Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges and a team exercise “Zoo Hacking – Describe (don’t do)”, focusing on ethical cybersecurity, conceptual attack and defense planning, and strategic thinking.
EPOKA University was represented by Dr. Florenc Skuka (Team Leader) and students Denisa Korra, Sidrit Zela, Ameraldo Bullari, and Ina Ndoni. They demonstrated outstanding teamwork, analytical skills, and dedication, gaining valuable international experience in applied cybersecurity.
The event reinforced EPOKA University’s commitment to promoting digital competence, ethical cybersecurity, and international academic collaboration.
