From July 7 to 18, 2025, Dr. Alba Gerdeci, lecturer in the Department of Law at Epoka University, visited Gdańsk University of Technology and the University of Gdańsk to explore avenues for enhancing academic collaboration.
At Gdańsk University of Technology, the Epoka delegation, led by the Rector, met with Prof. Ph.D., D.Sc. Józef E. Sienkiewicz, Prof. Piotr Lorens, and members of the Erasmus+ Office. Discussions focused on research cooperation, Erasmus+ initiatives, PhD-level collaboration, and the upcoming ICAUD 2025 conference in Tirana. The meetings also provided a forum to reflect on the opportunities and challenges that artificial intelligence presents for higher education and international partnerships.
At the University of Gdańsk, Dr. Gerdeci engaged with colleagues from the Law Faculty and International Office to discuss strengthening collaboration in legal studies, particularly through research, academic exchanges and short-term student programs. Special thanks are extended to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Edvardas Juchnevicius for facilitating this meeting, which promises to translate into tangible opportunities for both students and faculty.
These visits mark an important step in reinforcing Epoka University’s international partnerships, creating meaningful academic and professional opportunities for its community.
