On October 31, 2023, EPOKA University had the honor of welcoming his excellency Mr. Takada Mitsuyuki, the esteemed Ambassador of Japan in Albania, on the occasion of the successful conclusion of the "READ JAPAN PROJECT".
This project, initiated by the EPOKA Library and the Embassy of Japan, aims to promote cultural exchange and educational enrichment. The Ambassador was welcomed by the Vice-Rector of EPOKA University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Niuton Mulleti, along with other managing authorities of the institution.
During his visit, Ambassador Takada emphasized the importance of the collaboration between Japan and Albania, especially in the field of education among other sectors, through the granting of scholarships for the Albanian students, as in the case of our master student, Alesia Abazaj, who has been granted a scholarship to study in Osaka University, in Japan, starting from April 2024.
The Ambassador's visit continued with the ceremony of the donation of books by the Embassy of Japan to EPOKA University, in the framework of the "READ JAPAN PROJECT", in collaboration with the Nippon Foundation” dhe “Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research”. These books, will serve as invaluable resources for students and academics, fostering a deeper appreciation for Japanese heritage and intellectual contributions.
EPOKA University extends its warmest appreciation to Ambassador Takada Mitsuyuki for his visit, which served as a testament to the enduring friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
