Director of the Centre for European Studies at Epoka University, Dr. Bekir attended 3. International Symposium on Terrorism and Transnational Crime, organized by UTSAM in Antalya, Turkey, on 9-11 December, 2011.
Dr. Cinar presented a paper at the Conference, titled: “The Role of Social Media on Organized Crime”, which has been published at the conference proceeding.
The UTSAM established under the Department of Research Centers of the Police Academy, merges theory with practice and generates information particularly for policy-makers, decision-makers and practitioners in various fields of security such as terrorism, transnational crime, human trafficking, migrant smuggling, drug trafficking, organized crime and cybercrimes.
During his visit, Dr. Cinar had the chance to exchange ideas with other academics from Europe and Asia and to share important information about Albania and "Epoka University".
